Gesture In Street Photography
I believe that street photography is about gesture. Capturing the right expression, an interesting posture, a movement of the hand, etc. Most of the time you only get one shot. The ability to anticipate what is going to unfold in the next few seconds is often the key to getting the shot. I witnessed this amusing scene in Paris last January at Le Jardin Du Luxembourg, I call it ‘The Lost Tourists’. It pays to stick around for a few seconds and keep your finger on the shutter!
