Normandy In The Off Season…

Normandy is one of the most visited regions of France, its rich history attracts tourists from all over the world. In January, the busy coastal towns become very sleepy and a bit sad. I don’t mind so much except that I like people and it’s a bit too deserted for my taste. I was there last week for a few days to visit family. It was not a photography trip. I spent very little time with my big camera and I enjoyed using my iPhone the rest of the time. This is a mix of both. Can you tell which were shot with a DSLR and which were shot with the iPhone?

Okay, here is the answer: The first 11 were shot with a DSLR and the last 5 were shot with my iPhone 🙂

On a bright sunny day the quality of the iPhone is quite impressive. The best camera is the one you have with you!

  1. Tricky question. All your images are shot in rather good light and are on the small size- in those conditions, there is no way to tell which are shot with an iPhone. Which just proves the point, right?
