Inside the Pioneer Endicott Building in St Paul
This morning, some local photographer friends and I were lucky to have special access inside the 1889 Pioneer Endicott Building in St Paul. It was dusty and hot, we climbed hundreds of stairs for a chance to capture some interesting architectural details. These were shot hand-held with the 5DMarkII and 24-70mm 2.8 lens at ISO ranging from 800 to 6400. Fun times!
I love your B&W architectural photos. I’m beginning to work in B&W myself. Always studying your style along with other great photographers. Thanks!

Greetings Valerie!
Enjoy keeping up with your adventures. I just bought the Black Rapid camera strap you recommended and tried it out last night at a live music street fair in Claremont. I LOVE it. Took a bit getting used to the way the camera hangs. Works great with the 40mm pancake. Haven’t tried it the the 24-70L lens yet. But, so far, so good. Thank you for the recommendation!
HOT HOT HOT here. Hope you are enjoying the Minnesota summer. Have a wonderful trip to Amsterdam (? or Iceland). Looking forward to seeing your photos!
Warmly, Diana

Beautiful interiors, Valerie. That 24-70 2.8 is a wonderful lens. It is rarely off my camera- so good for handheld in low light. Wonderful compositions in this set!
