Une Histoire d’Escalier

The story of a staircase.

I’ve been staying in an apartment on the 6th floor of a beautiful Parisian building for a week now. There is an elevator but I love using the stairs and taking snapshots of the different quality of light coming through the windows. Sometimes they are open, other times they are closed. There is a certain mystery attached to those old walls. If only those stairs could talk…

  1. Very interesting collection. I think the first one is my favorite, but it just the inspiration from you just walking past normal stairs everyday and create beautiful images is what I take from this post. On the other hand, are there normal stairs in Paris?😉

  2. Dans certains “vieux” immeubles il existe encore de très beaux escaliers entretenu et bien cires … Comme celui ci !!! Une rareté de nos jours , toute une “atmosphère” comme dirait … Une autre époque
