A Paris!

I’m in Paris again to teach two photo workshops. We just finished day 3 and what a glorious time it has been so far! I’m doing what I love to do with a small group of passionate photographers who came from Canada, the United-States, Australia and Belgium to see Paris through their lens for a week. Today was day 3 and the students who have been a bit intimidated by street photography are really seeing opportunities and becoming more daring. The more experienced street shooters are trying new things and challenging themselves as well. Since we are enjoying wonderful sunny days, we have been playing with shadows and silhouettes a lot!

I am having so much fun making new friends, teaching and grabbing a few shots along the way on our daily photo walks.

Here are a few B&W pics that I collected along the way, there will be some color images on a later post… Enjoy and please leave a comment, thanks!🙂

  1. What surpizes me (and I’m sorry – it is not your photography – its brilliance is “no surpize”) is that I enjoy the title in equal part to the photograph. And you are very, very good at naming them as well as taking the shots. The title can make or break the shot – a simple and rather plain image can be given charm, mystery, mis-direction, and so much more with a very good title.

Does anyone else notice this too?
