J’aime Paris en Noir et Blanc

Sorry about the short post but, as I am about to fly back to France to teach another workshop about visual storytelling,  I realize that I haven’t shared some of my photographs from Paris last month! Here is a selection of frames in B&W for you today. Everyday life captured on the streets of Paris in September 2018. Moments that will never happen again…  Do you have a favorite?

Enjoy and have a fabulous day!

Valérie.

  1. A favorite? It’s hard to pick just one. Your style of street photography has such an elegance to it. Lately I’ve been drawn to your photos of dancers. You don’t see scenes like that in the US. And the subject are always so emotive. I’ll go with that as my favorite.

  3. There are so many wonderful moments here that it’s hard to choose a favorite, Valérie! As always, you have such a gift for capturing the light — but what strikes me especially in this set is the interaction between you and some of your subjects. Their expressions are so playful and so happy. I think that speaks volumes about the woman holding the camera. 🙂 Thank you for sharing these, and have a wonderful séjour à Paris !
