J’aime Aussi Paris en Couleur
Bonjour!
I hope you enjoyed my recent J’aime Paris en Noir et Blanc post. Of course, Paris is also about color, a more playful Paris with different situations, different moods… Here are a few frames from September.
All photographs shot with the Fujifilm X100F in Classic Chrome.
Which post did you enjoy the most?
Thank you for stopping by 🙂
Valérie
HI Valerie,
It’s difficult to choose, some of the color pictures have some magic in them, other just very nice. Still in general, your BW pictures are all spectacular

Some lovely images. Makes me want to return! Thank you.
Of the two, I think I prefer B+W

Color is always much harder as I look for something where color adds something B&W can’t I’d say the bicycle along Canal St. Martin (green bike and green building). a bientot!

I enjoyed the third photo most as it makes me think of indulging a delicious café au lait early in the morning while reading L’EQUIPE at one of the nice Parisian brasseries.

Indeed, I know how much you love Paris, Christof! Looking forward to hitting the streets of New York with you in the spring 🙂

Love them all, Valerie! But if i HAD to choose, at this moment, I like the curtain and the frames too, and also the 2 children–one in yellow raincoat. Have fun in Normandy!!!

Asking “which did you enjoy the most” is like asking me to pick a favorite child — but if I must choose, I will always prefer to see Paris in black and white because for me it better reflects the timelessness of the moments you capture. That said, the hints of sepia in your image of the curtain and the picture frames are really beautiful. That’s one image that would be diminished for me in black and white because it would lose its hard-earned patina.
Gosh … I didn’t help at all, did I? 🙂 Beautiful work, as always.

Thanks Heide! The pics you are referring to are actual color, not sepia or any other manipulation. I shoot in Classic Chrome and the colors are naturally a little desaturated, which I love.
Thank you for your continued support! xx
