It’s stormy in Minnesota on the first day of summer! I took advantage of a short break between rain showers and tornado warnings to visit my neighbor Iris who was working in her beautiful garden. I enjoyed a delightful walk through a botanical garden with a real expert! She is so passionate about her flowers and plants, it made the experience so much more enriching for me! I can’t wait to go back. The strong winds made the photo shoot really challenging but I managed to get a few good images.

They are all just gorgeous!! I recognise a few from my own garden. I should really get out and work too but the rain is coming yet again! You have inspired me to go take a little walk through it though.

You did a wonderful job in what is obviously a beautiful garden. Are you invited back when the wind has died down?
