Visual Narratives: Nolwen & Benjamin
I met Nolwen, Benjamin, Tristan and their dog Woody just before sunset last night. The light was pure magic on the beach. Nolwen and Benjamin were skim boarding. Not many people can do it right but those guys were quite good, and so sweet, with big smiles. We hung out for a while, talked and I grabbed a few frames. I’ll see them on the beach again soon so you’ll probably see more pics of them on Instagram!
WONDERFUL images! The 4th one with the dog watching especially grabs me.

Thank you Steve! It was a fun impromptu shoot.

You made me go in search of Pypo boarding, which was an Oregon adaptation of the Hawaiian paipo boards. They were big in Seaside Oregon when I lived there as a kid
